It’s evangelism season! A meditation on spring…
I’ve lived in a tropical climate, and while the constant sunshine is nice, there is something special about the changing of the seasons. Yes, our Canadian winters are long, and the cold and darkness can feel bleak at times. But there’s nothing like that first hint of spring—when the days get longer, the air feels warmer, and life seems to be returning all around us. In fact, all of nature begins to “resurrect” before our eyes.
As the Song of Solomon recounts:
It’s no accident that Easter lands in the spring. As creation comes back to life, we celebrate the greatest resurrection of all—Christ rising from the dead!
